A one off cardholder promotion where a MasterCard winner and a friend will tour Europe for five weeks to watch the All Blacks turned into a campaign that went for years and turned the actor who played Tim into a bit of a celebrity in New Zealand. The first two TVCs were voted Best Ad in New Zealand at the Fair Go Awards (second most watched TV show in New Zealand) and Tim also made the shortlist in 2013. "Nonu Nonu Nonu Boom" a line from the ad made a ist of top 10 quotes of the year.
